Ron and Sandra Michener

Ron and Sandra Michener have been missionaries in Leuven, Belgium for 28 years. Ron has degrees in theological studies and Sandra in Counseling/Therapy/Bible. Their unique blend of training and experience made them a perfect fit for the work they do at the Theological Facility in Leuven, a seminary college where he not only teaches but mentors students as they prepare for ministries throughout Europe. Ron also preaches often at the International Church of Evangelicals in Leuven. His work also includes writing and publication. He currently is a contributing writer to a book being written on cancer and pastoral theology. Ron experienced this first hand several years ago when he had brain cancer. Sandra leads Women’s Bible studies and mentoring women. Recently she has been instrumental in helping refugees from the Ukraine find housing, jobs, education and so much more. So many of the people she is helping arrived with nothing except the clothes they were wearing. To add to the challenge, most do not share a common language, but she says that they use the hand gestures and much love.
Their prayer request is that they will continue to reach many with the trained persons that leave their facility, equipped to share the Gospel. I would add that we pray for continued health and strength and stamina for them both as they serve God.
