This year is a Covid year.
Due to Covid-19 we ask that you bring and wear a mask anytime you are indoors (excluding while sitting at your table for meals), or outside and unable to maintain your physical distancing.
We also ask that you wash your hands and/or use hand sanitizer (which will be provided) frequently.
We ask that if you have been in contact with someone with Covid-19, have a new cough, shortness of breath, fever above 100.4 and/or Chills that you remain home. If any of these symptoms appear while at camp, we ask that you return home.
When you arrive you will be placed in a Cohort of 10 or fewer men, these will be who you eat with, sit with in chapel, compete with during event times and generally spend the weekend with. Each Cohort will be it's own unit, and we ask that you refrain from interacting with people outside your cohort.
We at camp are limited on overnight stays, every person staying over night needs to either be in a family unit or needs to have individual lodging. If you plan to stay over night, please make a plan for that, there are a few RV sites, they will be first come first serve, there are a few cabins, and there is space for tents. If these don't sound fun to you, please make a plan to travel up and down every day.
These steps will help to ensure that Man Camp will remain Covid free, which in turn will help to ensure that future camps are able to happen also.
Last minute changes, such as schedule or weather warnings, will be distributed via email
Your Man Camp Speaker
Dean has been a friend and fan of MLBC since he first spoke there around 1999 or 2000. Some of you may have even heard him speak. He and Kraig Kroeker attended Western Baptist College as “non traditional students” in other words, the two old guys. Dean has been a youth pastor and also has pastored two churches. He promises to bring you a man camp like no other you have attended.
