The BBC Rummage Sale

Held last weekend, brought in just under $2,900 to be used for our Food Pantry Ministry.  A huge thank you goes to Pat Oelkers and her team for all their hard work.

BBC started hosting the food banking in 2012

Food is available for clients on every 3rd Friday of the month. From 1:00-4:00pm

Volunteers are needed to pick up and unload groceries from the food pantry, help clients to fill food boxes and to get to their cars.

The following items are needed to help provide enough supplies. Peanut butter, chili, macaroni & cheese, ramen, stew, soups, canned tuna & meat, and canned vegetables.

The church uses two small rooms to stock household supplies for kitchen use, small appliances, bedding, towels, rugs and curtains.

We take most smaller items.  Furniture by arrangement due to space.  Limited clothing due to space.  In the fall and winter we need coats sweaters sweatshirts, gloves, scarves & hats.

These items are used to meet the needs of the food bank clients.

We collect donations to buy turkeys for Thanksgiving.  At our Christmas food bank we have a gift table of unwrapped gifts for the whole family.  Donations of toys, warm socks, underwear, small appliances, decorative items, jewelry, gift cards are needed.
