March 24, 2020

Dear Church Family:

(Effective yesterday afternoon-following the order from the Governor)

*The Church Office will be taking phone calls (No Walk Ins) from 9am-1pm Monday-Friday.

*No prayer times or small group meetings.

*A video will continue to be put together for each Sunday Morning Service

*Your Pastors continue to be available for you…

*Because the Food Pantry is “Essential-the Food Pantry’s are the ONLY way folks can get food boxes right not” this is still taking place by appointment only the next couple afternoons, for the month of March.

(This will be in effect until further notice.)

And if there is ANY specific way we can pray for you, please let us know.

Any questions, please call or email.

Blessings,

Your Church Leadership

Fred Meyer will now have special hours for Seniors and high-risk customers.  Starting on Monday, March 23 from 7:00am to 8:00am shopping hours will be reserved for these customers.  The grocery store will reserve this hour Monday to Thursday for now.

Albertsons kicked off it's senior-only shopping hours on Thursday, March 19.  The grocery store chain, with 2,000 stores nationwide, stated it will reserve every Tuesday and Thursday, from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m., for those vulnerable shoppers who must leave home to obtain their groceries.

Walmart stores will adjust operation hours and offer a special hour of shopping reserved exclusively for seniors during the coronavirus outbreak.  U.S. Stores will now open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. From March 24 through April 28, Walmart stores will host an hour-long senior shopping event every Tuesday.  Only customers who are 60 and older will be allowed to shop at the store an hour before the store opens.

Costco has joined other big box stores in creating special shopping hours for senior customers. The bulk retailer said in a statement Saturday that it will open its doors for members 60 years and older every Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. The special hours will begin March 24.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
